Start with your original remote’s model number or manual, then confirm all three:

  1. Matching frequency

    433 / 433.92 MHz, as specified for this model.

  2. A supported chip

    Frequency alone does not confirm compatibility.

  3. A working original

    You need it to copy the button functions.

Look for the chip identifier in the original remote’s documentation, or ask its manufacturer to confirm it. Matching the frequency alone is not enough. Rolling-code and encrypted systems are not confirmed compatible with this model. It does not replace an engine immobilizer transponder or a physical car key.

SET IT UP, ONE BUTTON AT A TIME

Have a working original ready. Choose the function you want to save, then follow the steps below.

Before you begin: confirm compatibility and that the original still operates its device. Clear only the duplicator. Clearing removes its current button assignments.

  1. Clear the duplicator.

    Hold A + BKeep A held, tap B × 3

    Hold A + B until the LED flashes three times. Keep A held, release B, then press B three times. Release both after rapid flashing. Press a button to check: the LED should no longer stay on.

  2. Bring the two remotes together.

    Original remote   +   Duplicator   ·   Close together

    Place the original beside the duplicator, as close together as practical. If the signal is not picked up, adjust their alignment or try placing their fronts together.

  3. Copy your chosen function.

    Hold the original button   +   your chosen A–D button

    Press and hold the desired button on the original and the chosen A, B, C or D button on the duplicator together. Watch for the LED to change as it learns the signal, then release and test that button on the device.

  4. Repeat. Test. Keep your original.

    Copy other functions one at a time, then try each programmed button. Do not repeat the clearing step between buttons. Store the original safely after checking that your new remote works.

Setup guide for the A–D style shown. Button sequences and LED timing can vary by version; follow the instructions supplied with your unit if they differ. Always confirm the copied button operates the intended device.

A LITTLE POSITIONING MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Keep them close

Start with the remotes side by side. If learning does not begin, try another alignment or bring their fronts together.

Copy one button at a time

Hold the source button and your chosen A–D button together. Repeat for each function without clearing between buttons.

Watch. Then test.

Use the LED as feedback during setup. The final confirmation is the correct device responding to your copied button.

A HELPFUL RESET OPTION

Cleared it by accident?

On supported A–D versions, the lower two buttons can restore previously copied codes after an accidental clear. Try recovery before programming new codes.

C + D   Hold together until the LED flashes.

Release, then test your saved buttons. If recovery does not work, copy them again from your original remote. Recovery is not a way to recreate a lost original or recover overwritten codes.

A FEW QUICK CHECKS CAN HELP

Not quite working yet?

The LED responds, but the door does not.

Check the original frequency and chip against the compatibility list. A flashing LED alone does not confirm that the copied signal will operate your device.

The duplicator is not learning a button.

Check that the original still works. Confirm the duplicator was cleared, bring the remotes closer and try another alignment. Also check the battery in each remote.

Only one or two buttons work.

Test each function separately and retry the unsuccessful copy. If you clear the duplicator to start over, be ready to copy all the functions you want again.

I cannot find my remote’s chip information.

Check the model number and documentation, or ask the original manufacturer. A matching case or a “433 MHz” label on its own does not establish compatibility.

If response becomes weak, check the batteries in both remotes. For replacement, match the battery type printed on the fitted battery or supplied instructions, and observe polarity. Keep the remote dry and clean it with a soft, dry cloth.

Can I copy buttons from different remotes?

Yes, up to four button functions can come from the same or different compatible remotes. Each source must meet the frequency and chip requirements.

Does it need Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or an app?

The copying process is carried out directly between the remotes using their buttons. There is no app pairing step.

Can I copy a remote that is already lost?

You need a working original to copy its signal. Make your spare while the original is still available.

Can it replace a car key?

It is not a replacement for a physical key or an engine immobilizer transponder. Any vehicle remote-button compatibility must be checked separately.

Can I clear it and copy different functions later?

Yes. Clear the duplicator, then copy the compatible functions you want. Clearing removes the current assignments, so keep the originals available.

What affects the operating distance?

The receiver, battery condition, walls and local interference can affect performance. Test it in your usual location rather than relying on a universal range figure.

Will it work with rolling-code remotes?

Rolling-code compatibility is not confirmed for this model. Match the frequency and supported chip before ordering; a similar-looking remote or matching frequency alone is not enough.

Are A, B, C and D already assigned to specific jobs?

No. Each letter is a slot for one copied function. For example, A can receive a compatible garage function and B a gate function; the original signal determines what happens.

Can two people have their own copy?

Yes, if the original and receiving system are compatible. Program each duplicator separately from the working original, then test every copied button.

Is it a TV remote or a Wi-Fi controller?

This model copies supported RF remote signals at the specified frequency. It is not an infrared TV remote, a Wi-Fi controller or an app-based smart-home hub.

I have bought several of this model, I really like it because it's compact enough to use as a keychain, doesn't bother in my pants pocket, and works very well as a copy. The only issue is that the antenna doesn't emit a very strong signal, so you need to be closer for it to recognize, but still, it's an excellent value for money.
